Hiromi Kubo

Acupuncturist & Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Hiromi Kubo is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P.) with over 15 years of clinical experience. Originally from Japan, Hiromi first came to Canada to ski in Whistler—and quickly fell in love with the nature, culture, and people of British Columbia. She has called the Sea-to-Sky region home ever since.
Hiromi graduated in 2006 with a Diploma of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. She completed her fifth-year clinical internship at the Anhui TCM Hospital in Hefei, China, where she deepened her understanding of integrative and classical Chinese medicine practices.
Hiromi continues to refine her practice with advanced training in innovative and precise Japanese modalities, including:
- Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA)
- Fukaya-style direct moxibustion
- Japanese Kampo herbal therapy
Her approach is gentle, individualized, and deeply rooted in East Asian medical philosophy—yet also adaptable to modern-day concerns such as stress, fatigue, musculoskeletal pain, digestive issues, and women’s health.
Hiromi brings warmth, curiosity, and dedication to each session, creating a safe and healing environment for her clients. Whether you are seeking relief from chronic conditions or looking to support your general well-being, Hiromi offers care that is both effective and compassionate.
